Description Issued during the reign of Kumaragupta I between circa 415–455 CE, this silver Drachm belongs to the western silver coinage series of the Gupta Empire. Struck in silver using hammered minting techniques and weighing approximately 2.05 grams, the coin reflects the enduring influence of earlier Western Kshatrapa monetary traditions adapted into a distinctly Gupta style.
